Will the MobileStrong Storage Drawer Systems fit in your vehicle?
Here’s how to measure your vehicle to determine what size storage box you need.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR TRUCK
WIDTH
Measure the narrowest point (width wise) in the bed of your truck. Typically this is between the wheel wells.
Note: The narrowest point may not always be on the floor of the bed. A single MobileStrong Truck unit may be purchased up to 15” high so there must be clearance up to the actual height of the unit you are interested in.
LENGTH
Determine the length of your truck bed and then how much of this length you will want your MobileStrong unit to cover.
Once you have measured your truck, simply make sure the product you want will fit inside your dimensions.
OPTIONS
2” foot bars/risers are available to help clear any obstructions there may be in the bed of the truck or on the tailgate. Always make sure the drawers of the MobileStrong unit have clearance to open properly.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR SUV/CROSSOVER
WIDTH
Measure the narrowest point, checking the rear door frame and include any protrusions all the way to the back seat uprights or other pre-determined end point in your cargo area.
Note: It is important to know the approximate height of the MobileStrong SUV or HDP unit(s) you are interested in. Determine the narrowest point from the floor to this top height as the width at the floor may differ from the width at 12” above the floor or vice versa.
Measuring Tips: watch for curved rear door frames, molded protrusions coming out from either side of cargo area, and wheel wells
LENGTH
Measure the distance from the door or hatchback (closed) all the way to the back seat uprights or other pre-determined end point in your cargo area. It will be important to decide on your desired seating arrangement before determining the overall length.
Note: It is important to know the approximate height of the MobileStrong SUV or HDP unit(s) you are interested in. Determine the maximum length at the floor and at this top height as the measurement at the floor may differ from that at 12” above the floor or vice versa.
Measuring Tips: watch for rear doors that angle in towards cargo area, back seat uprights that angle in towards cargo area, and protrusions coming from the floor.
Once you have measured your SUV/Crossover, simply make sure the product you want will fit inside your dimensions or input your measurements into the MobileStrong “MiY” HDP Designer Tool to “Model it Yourself”.
